Health Study: Now Tb Can Be Identified 3 or 6 Months Ago

Scientists have developed a new blood test. Due to this, a fatal disease like TB can be detected 3 to 6 months in advance and TB disease can be treated before people fall ill. This new health study will save the lives of TB (Tuberculosis) patients.

How does TB spread

TB disease is caused by bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis which affects the lungs. TB infection is a disease and can spread from one person to another via air. TB is one of the top 10 causes of deaths worldwide. This bacteria is present in a quarter of the world population, but most people remain healthy and do not spread this bacteria.

What the researchers said

In research published in The Lancet Respiratory Medical Journal, researchers have identified gene expressions that enter the blood before the onset of the disease.
Researchers at University College London, Rishi Gupta, said the development of a gene expression signature test would help in early detection and treatment of TB. This test can help control the disease. In this research, we have identified changes that occur before the onset of TB. This is a very important discovery that helps in the early detection of the disease.

Many cancers are also identified

Gin expression is the behavior of a gin or a group of genes present in a cell. This behavior goes unchecked during disease or invasion of bacteria. The expression signature used to control many types of cancer.
Researchers studied the expression of patients suffering from TB and healthy people to know the difference between the two. The expression found from blood samples of 17 participants matched with blood samples from 1100 others. These people were from South Africa, Ethiopia, Gambia, and the UK. Samples of these people were taken when they did not have TB and were then monitored for a few months. Researchers noticed that 8 Jin expressions changed. This showed them that with the help of these manifestations, TB can be identified before 3 to 6 months
